Arrival
Before your vacation really starts, you first drive through the beautiful Ötztal valley - past impressive mountains, rushing streams and charming villages. As soon as you arrive in Sölden, the journey continues: you drive through the village towards the center. Before you reach the BP petrol station, turn right. Then follow the traffic sign with the letter H. At the next junction, turn right again over the bridge. Now just follow the panoramic road uphill - and you have arrived at the SELDA CHALET. Welcome to your mountain retreat!

Deposit
After booking, we kindly ask you to pay a 50% deposit within 14 days. Once the money is in our account, your booking is confirmed – and we will make sure everything is perfectly prepared for your arrival.
Amenities
- In addition to all the amenities listed on this website, towels, bath towels, bed linen and tea towels are provided.
- If you would like to have fresh hand or bath towels, just let us know.
Baby Cot
We are happy to provide a baby cot for children aged 0 to 3 years – to ensure availability, please let us know when booking your chalet.

Payment Options
- You can pay in cash on site or simply transfer the invoice amount to our bank account one week prior to arrival.
- Please pay the resort tax IN CASH by 6:00 PM one day before your departure.
Bike Room & Bike Wash Area
Your private lockable bike room is also included at Selda Chalet! It comprises a wardrobe for drying your bike gear, a bike rack and repair tools. There is also a bike wash area and a charging station for your e-bike right next to the chalet – charging is also free of charge!
MTB & Cycling Accommodation
We are a quality-tested Mountain Bike & Cycling Accommodation and are available to assist you with useful help and advice – fully tailored to your wishes for your biking holiday. One of the Bike Republic Sölden trails - GAHE Line - runs right past our chalet so you can set off and return straight away.
Free Bread Delivery Service
- OUR SELDA SPECIAL:
You are welcome to order fresh bread here - which will be waiting for you in the bread box on your doorstep from 7:00 am. Choose from a selection of delicious bread rolls that are included in the daily price for our guests staying at Selda Chalet – so you can start your day in a relaxed manner and at no extra cost! - Further details on ordering and complete offer available on site.
Check-in / Check-out
- Check-in from 3.00 PM
- Check-out by 09.00 AM
If the chalet is ready for occupancy earlier, you can also check in earlier. Otherwise you are welcome to leave your car with us - so you can start your day of skiing, biking or hiking right away. Please let us know if you arrive after 8:00 PM.
End-of-stay cleaning fee
- There is a one-time final cleaning fee of € 150.00 per stay.
- We kindly ask you to dispose of and separate your garbage on the day of your departure, as well as load and start the dishwasher.
Free Electric Charging Station
- You will find two charging stations for your electric car right at our chalet – perfect for charging your vehicle after your trip to Ötztal in a relaxed manner and free of charge.

- There is also a separate charging station for your e-bike.
Pets
Unfortunately, we do not accept dogs or other pets. We ask for your understanding.
Nighttime Quiet
From 11:00 PM, we also have a quiet time (no loud music) – please respect our neighbors!
No Smoking
Our chalet is furnished with high-quality, natural materials – therefore, all interior rooms and spaces are non-smoking areas. The balcony, as well as our garden, offer sufficient space for smokers.
Resort tax
- The resort tax is € 4.00 per person/day until 31 October 2025 and € 5.00 per person/day from 01 November 2025.
- Children under 15 years of age (born in 2011 or later) do not pay the resort tax.
Parking
- You can park two cars in the carport free of charge.
- Each additional car costs € 15.00 per day.
Prices & Deposit
- Our prices are per night and based on the number of people listed in the price table.
- The prices comprise the inclusive services listed on this website.
- The resort tax and end-of-stay cleaning fee are not included in the overnight price.
- A deposit of € 400.00 is due in cash upon arrival or check-in.
- The deposit will be fully refunded upon departure, provided the chalet is undamaged and clean upon check-out.
Travel Insurance
We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance so that your costs are covered in case something unexpected happens and you have to start your holiday late or even leave early. A good option is, for example, the European Travel Insurance.
Ski-in / Ski-out
In just a few steps you will be on the ski slope leading down to Giggijoch mountain gondola (only if the ski piste no. 21/22 is open – current information can be found here).
Ski storage room
You have a private ski storage room at your disposal so you can store your equipment comfortably and safely.
Ski rental
In Sölden, you have many options for renting ski equipment. We recommend Sport Mike or Glanzer Sport.
Skipass
It's best to book your skipass online. The earlier, the better – so you can get up to 20% discount.
Cancellation terms
SUMMER / AUTUMN:
- Free cancellation up to 21 days prior to arrival
- 70% of the total price from 21 days to 7 days prior to arrival
- 90% of the total price from 7 days prior to arrival
WINTER:
- Free cancellation up to 50 days prior to arrival
- 50% of the total price from 50 to 7 days prior to arrival
- 90% of the total price from 7 days prior to arrival

In summer, the Summer Card is included for all our guests: a great way to enjoy the entire holiday region to the fullest. It comprises countless benefits and discounts. More information is available here.
WIFI
- Free WiFi is available throughout your stay.
- You will find the password directly at the chalet.

A 5th person can sleep on the sofa bed in one of the bedrooms or use the foldaway bed in the living area/hallway - depending on individual preferences. The foldaway bed is not only comfortable, but also space-saving and can be easily and conveniently folded out when needed. This way, everyone has their favorite spot at Chalet Selda in Ötztal.
